"Iron rusts from disuse; water loses its purity from stagnation... even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind."
-- Leonardo da Vinci
This quote, by the great Leonardo da Vinci, encapsulates Delaware artist, Amy Adamcik's philosophy in life and art. Never one to sit idle, Amy strives to continually observe, learn, grow and change. She actively seeks out ways to test her mind, body and spirit. This ideology has played an integral part in Amy's success as an artist. A perfectionist by nature, she is constantly honing her craft, finding ways to challenge her skills, becoming sharper and more detailed with every piece.
Amy received her professional training at the Abraxas Studio of Art, in Lewes, Delaware. We hope you enjoy her work. Along with creating original pieces, she is also available for commissioned work. Please take note of Amy's latest commission, War and Peace - Battery 519 - Cape Henlopen State Park, DE, which was created for the Fort Miles Historical Association. Giclee prints can be purchased through her website, or through FMHA at either the gallery at Fort Miles, or The Brush Factory on Kings, in Lewes, DE.
